Press service – everything you need to know about ILA Berlin 2026

Under the theme “Pioneering Aerospace,” ILA Berlin from June 10 to 14 will focus entirely on the future of aerospace. Below is a list of everything you need to know for visiting and working at ILA Berlin.

Press accreditation

This year, accreditation for ILA Berlin can only be obtained online. To do so please click here. Accreditation can no longer be obtained on the grounds. Press passes are valid from June 9 to 14, 2026 (from 9 am).

Press Centre

This year, the Press Centre is located in the Chalets East 30-32, near the east entrance to the ILA grounds. The Press Centre has around 40 workstations for journalists, a press bar and a terrace with additional seating. Please remember to bring your own work laptop - WLAN is available on the ILA grounds. The press bar will provide you with coffee, tea and cold drinks. You can find an overview of the exhibition grounds here and an interactive hall plan here.

Directions to the ILA grounds

We recommend using public transportation. 
During the trade visitor days (June 10 – 12), you can reach the ILA site via the following routes: 
▸ U-Bahn station Rudow (U7) → ILA shuttle bus to the trade show site
▸ S-Bahn station Waßmannsdorf (S9/S85) → ILA shuttle bus to the trade show site

Please note that rail replacement services are in operation at the private visitors weekend (June 13 – 14) between the S-Bahn stations Baumschulenweg and Altglienicke (S-Bahn lines S9/S85). We therefore recommend the following routes: 
▸ U-Bahn station Rudow (U7) → ILA shuttle bus to the trade show site
▸ S-Bahn station Mahlow (S2) → ILA shuttle bus to the trade show site
▸ S-Bahn station Schönefeld (ILA Express, S9/S85, FEX, RB24) → ILA shuttle bus to the trade show site

The ILA Express takes you from Gesundbrunnen station or Lichtenberg station via Ostkreuz and Schöneweide to Schönefeld station. From there, a shuttle bus runs to the ILA grounds.

Press parking

Parking is available for the press at the west entrance to the ILA grounds. Accredited journalists can obtain a parking permit by emailing their request to: ila-presse@messe-berlin.de. You can find directions to the ILA grounds here.

Press events

Numerous press events are scheduled at ILA Berlin, where exhibitors will be presenting their latest products. An overview of press events is available here.

On June 9 ILA Backstage takes place, a public press tour during the build-up to the show, together with Brandenburg’s Minister President Dr. Dieter Woidke and Governing Mayor of Berlin Kai Wegner. Please register here for participation in ILA Backstage. Accreditation for ILA is a prerequisite for participation.

On June 10 Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz will officially open ILA Berlin. This will be followed by a public press tour. Participation in the Chancellor's tour is by invitation. 

Online platform of ILA

A new virtual platform is augmenting the in-person show: ILA Digital gives you the opportunity to meet exhibitors at ILA Berlin, network with them and preview the wide-ranging program at the event. Note: you can access the virtual platform of ILA free of charge using the email address you specified when you purchased your ticket.

ILA Berlin is one of the world’s leading aerospace trade shows. It covers the aviation, space and defence sectors. Every two years, it brings together leading figures from industry, politics, research and the armed forces to exchange ideas and network.
