Around 750 exhibitors from 37 countries will be presenting civil and military aviation technology on the ground and in the air. Highlights will include the German premiere of the Heron TP drone, the AW249 combat helicopter and the Airbus Racer, as well as the DO228 NXT and the A350 aircraft.

Guidelines

The accreditation guidelines in detail

Accreditation is granted exclusively for the purpose of journalistic reporting. Please submit supporting documents in German or English.

Which credentials are accepted?

Bylined articles or reports (print, online, TV, radio) no older than six months at the time of the event.
A masthead naming you as editor, permanent editorial contributor or author, no older than three months.
An original written assignment from a full editorial office relating to the current show.
Content creators: a channel, podcast, b(v)log or streaming platform related to the show, active for at least six months, with regular posts and verified reach.
Proof of work for a school newspaper no older than six months, or a valid youth press organisation card.
A valid German press card (presserat.de) or a press card issued by a foreign journalists’ association.

Please note that a press card alone is generally not sufficient for accreditation.

Is a press card on its own sufficient?

As a rule, no: presenting a press card alone is not sufficient grounds for accreditation. The organiser reserves the right to request further proof of journalistic activity.

What applies to blogs?

Requirements are a topical link to ILA Berlin and aerospace, regular publications and a reach of at least 5,000 unique visitors per month. Editors of corporate blogs and blogs with a sales channel are not admitted.

What applies to influencers and social media channels?

For creator enquiries about ILA 2028, please contact Marcel Risker. Press accreditation is assessed against the applicable journalistic evidence requirements.

How do I document my reach?

Upload your credentials as a media kit during accreditation. Metrics such as unique visitors, page impressions and dwell time for the past three months must be documented with screenshots from independent tools (e.g. Google Analytics or Statify) – profile name and date must be visible. Only editorially responsible persons are accredited; the number of persons per blog may be limited.

Who is not accredited?

Persons without journalistic credentials, e.g. from PR consulting, customer care, sales management, advertising or as webmasters, staff of corporate blogs or corporate websites, product testers and private companions.
German nationals residing in Germany who present a foreign press card.
Persons presenting a written assignment from a freelance journalist.
Persons who are active on social networks in a purely private capacity.
Persons who want to use trade shows solely to acquire business for their own paid productions.

Is there a right to accreditation?

No. The organiser reviews each case individually and may additionally request a valid photo ID. There is no entitlement to accreditation; where necessary the organiser exercises its domiciliary rights.
