Dassault Systèmes Solutions Supporting Simulation and Prevention of Contamination Dispersal in Wuhan’s Leishenshan Hospital

Combating health disruption with technology to resume social and economic operations is now possible.

Strong from its successful experience with China’s Central-South Architectural Design Institute (CSADI) at Wuhan Hospital, Dassault Systèmes is able to support the simulation and evaluation of virus dispersal in a confined environment.

By using the 3DEXPERIENCE® platform on the cloud, CSADI has the ability to simulate virus contamination and diffusion within the hospital’s ventilation system and to counteract the negative effects from unplanned ventilation risks.

Airplane Airflow Simulation

By taking a similar approach for airlines, you will be able to: Increase the passenger confidence, Redesign and test safety procedures, Simulate airflow and virus diffusion patterns within a plane cabin environment, Effectively communicate to all stakeholders with high rendering videos.

Airport Airflow Optimization

By taking a similar approach for airports, you will be able to: Demonstrate a safe environment for your workforce and passengers, Optimize passenger flow, Test the effectivity of your safety measures and procedures, Minimize disruption in implementing business recovery and optimize your resources.

Office Sneeze | Examining the Spread of COVID 19 from Person-To-Person in Air-Conditioned Spaces

Our simulation supports the finding that if viruses can be aerosolized, they can potentially be redistributed throughout office building ventilation systems. We used published research on water droplet size distribution emitted by a sneeze as a starting point for our simulations.
