Rolls-Royce's sustainability strategy is based on three pillars - further increasing the efficiency of the gas turbine, electrification and sustainable fuels. The electrolysis stack is part of a cross - sectoral concept for the production of these fuels from renewable energies, which can be used in aircraft as well as in airport infrastructure.
