>> If growth is a measure of success, the ISC 2008, which saw a tripling of exhibitors, has exceeded all expectations. Particularly companies like EADS are always in search of new technologies and efficient national and international suppliers. A visit to the ISC by our delegation of procurement experts, including specialists from Airbus, Airbus Military, Eurocopter, EADS Defence and Security Systems, EADS Space and numerous partner companies of our Sourcing Network was very interesting and promising. Valuable business contacts were established and many questions answered in face-to-face talks. The feedback which we received from the members of our delegation was indeed very favorable.
In my view, the ISC is a perfect event for the exhibitors to get into contact with OEMs and 1st tier suppliers. EADS supports the further development of the ISC. The ISC is an important platform for the procurement officers of EADS and we consider it a welcome and very significant addition to ILA Berlin Air Show. <<
