Second ILA SPACE DAY on the occasion of ILA 2010
 
Themed "Mission to Earth – Space Technologies Meet Global Challenges" the expert audience may expect a top-class conference highlight.
 
Already in 2008, the ILA Space Day was a tremendous success. In 2010, SPACE DAY II will be held at the ILA Space Pavilion in Hall 9 on the ILA exhibition ground in Berlin Schönefeld.

Federal Minister of Economics, Rainer Brüderle, will be the patron of this year’s SPACE DAY. In two panels high-ranking representatives of the international space arena will discuss the importance of space applications and the use of space on Earth from an international, European and German point of view. Among the panellists there will be Lori Garver, Deputy Administrator NASA, Jean-Jacques Dordain, Director General ESA, Dr. Anatoly Perminov, Director Roskosmos, as well as Dr. K.P. Radhakrishnan, President ISRO. German top-level representatives from politics, space agencies and industry executives will also join these panel discussions.
 
The ILA Space Day will take place on Thursday, 10 June 2010, from 13:30 to 16:15 hrs; participation by invitation only.

09 June 2010 – SatCom Conference (a.m.) (DLR, BDLI)
09 June 2010 – Earth Observation Conference (p.m.) (ESA supported by DLR and BDLI)
10 June 2010 – Space Day (ESA, IAF, DLR, BDLI under the patronage of BMWi)
11 June 2010 – Astronauts´ Day (DLR, ESA, BDLI)
